The Lord Mayor, Jane Lomax-Smith is one of many who’ve been deceived by State Government propaganda, claiming that a $135 million new Aquatic and commercial centre would have a reduced “footprint” over your Open Green Public Park Lands.

Councillors, voting this month on a massive Park Lands land grab, are being urged to listen to their constituents, and see through a barrage of State Government misinformation.

We'll find out on Tuesday 12 September. An overwhelming majority have urged a win-win outcome for a new Aquatic centre on an alternative brownfield site, while protecting your Adelaide Park Lands.

4. LAKE RENEWAL FOR RYMILL PARK

Another renewal project is underway in your Park Lands – and this one has been a long time coming.

The lake at Rymill Park / Murlawirrapurka (Park 14) is closed until April while it undergoes improvements.

But we are only as strong as our Members and our Volunteers.
