1. STATE BUDGET's THREE ATTACKS ON 'OPEN GREEN PUBLIC' |
The 2021 State Budget released on Tuesday 22 June contained funding for not one, but three attacks on your Open Green Public Adelaide Park Lands. A new stadium, a new hospital and a new multi-storey car park would each whittle away more of your Park 27, which has already been subjected to decades of Park erosion. |
Bizarrely, these three State Government attacks on your Open Green Public Park Lands are coming while one of the State Government's own agencies promotes the very opposite. "Green Adelaide" has four goals, the first of which is "to conserve and enjoy our nature, parks and places". |
