It's a “rain garden” which, despite its name, doesn’t actually need rain to do its job, cleaning the lake’s water 24 hours a day.

Textile designer Shalini Kacker says she’s “ecstatic” to win the $2,500 People’s Choice Prize at the conclusion of the 2025 Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize.
