As we count down the days to the State election on 19 March, there is an urgent task at hand.
Every party and every candidate needs to know that you Love Your Park Lands. We’ve made it easy, with six questions that you can put to your local candidates.
With the State Election looming, the National Trust of South Australia has arranged an online public forum with a panel of State MPs to debate the crisis threatening SA’s built and environmental heritage, including your Adelaide Park Lands.
You can register to attend (on-line) and submit a question for the panel of MPs.

5. CLEAN UP - AN ECO-FRIENDLY RESOLUTION

Clean Up Australia has asked people to set “reuse-alutions” this year.
You can do your bit by attending our Clean Up event at Helen Mayo Park on March 6. As well, be inspired by some intentions set by fellow park lovers for 2022.
Things are looking rosy for the International Rose Garden in the Adelaide Botanic Garden.
The spot is undergoing a significant revitalisation, with the aim of achieving an Award of Garden Excellence from the World Federation of Rose Societies, before Adelaide hosts the World Rose convention in October.
Work is nearing completion on the $13 million Victoria Park wetlands in your Adelaide Park Lands.

Promises mean very little, but there’s a chance to plan Park Lands protection with an on-line forum, organised by The Greens, on Monday 21 February.
