4. Park Lands marathon: one of the best |
by GlamAdelaide's Daniel Heggie Members of Adelaide's running community are justifiably proud of the annual Park Lands marathon, now rated as the second-best marathon for beginners in Australia. The annual Adelaide marathon (a full 42.2km, plus shorter options) is scheduled for Sunday 3 May and once again will be sending competitors on a picturesque course almost entirely within your Park Lands, bordering Hackney Road in the east and Port Road in the west.

The Adelaide Park Lands Association has four Park Lands strategies: Explore, Inspire, Protect, and Restore. But we are only as strong as our Members; our Volunteers; and our Donors.
You are receiving the non-members version of this newsletter which means you're not (yet) a Member of our team, or perhaps a previous membership has expired. Will you help us? There are three ways to do that: as a Member, as a Volunteer and/or as a Donor. |

What are you waiting for? Choose from the various potential roles we've described on our volunteer page, here. We urgently need more Park Lands journalists/reporters/story tellers! |
