1. AQUATIC CENTRE: WIN-WIN OPTION GETTING TRACTION

State Government Ministers still have their heads in the sand, refusing to acknowledge community demands for a new Aquatic Centre to be built on a brownfield site, rather than on your Park Lands.

Government plans haven't yet picked up the win-win option for swimmers and your Park Lands.

2. ONE THREAT AVERTED - OTHERS REMAIN

Efforts to protect and restore your Adelaide Park Lands will now be stepped up, after a huge three-month community effort finally convinced the State Government that it was untenable to attack your Park Lands with a gigantic police barracks.

It remains to be seen whether this was merely an act of political expediency, or whether the State Government has had a change of heart, and will now start to Love Your Park Lands at other locations.

We are a grassroots community organisation. We Explore, Inspire, Protect, and Restore.

But we are only as strong as our Members and our Volunteers.

You are receiving the non-members version of this newsletter which means you're not (yet) a Member of our team.

Will you help us?

There are two ways to do that: as a Member, or as a Volunteer (or both!)
